Since 2006 it has appeared weekly in The Observer and on the Guardian website with the annual YOU ARE THE REF book regularly topping Amazons bestselling sports publication list.
Over the line Brand Solutions have been tasked with developing this iconic football brand so that it transcends all media platforms appealing to a new generation of football fan, whilst retaining the heritage and imagery that has always been its strength.
Over the line will commercially develop the YOU ARE THE REF brand to allow it to evolve and extend into a number of areas and attract commercial partnerships. Moving it on from being a classic but much loved comic strip to central hub for referee comments and opinions. An iphone app and PlayStation game have already been launched and now the YOU ARE THE REF brand is set to become even more popular as it embraces the digital age opening up a whole new generation of YOU ARE THE REF followers.
